Ami Sheth, DPM, of Los Gatos was elected as a Director-at-Large to the Board of Directors of the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) during the organization’s 98th Annual House of Delegates, which took place in Anaheim this past June.

 

Immediate Past President of the Santa Clara Valley Podiatric Medical Society, for which she received CPMA’s 2008 Society President of the Year Award, Dr. Sheth is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS).  She is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.  Dr. Sheth received her medical training at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, where she was an honors student.  She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree in 2002.  After earning her DPM degree Dr. Sheth completed a three year surgical residency program at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Vallejo, California. 

 

Dr. Sheth has been active on both the local and state levels of the podiatric medical community. The recipient of numerous awards and honors including CPMA’s 2010 Rising Star Award, tri-lingual (speaking English, Spanish and Gujarati) Dr. Sheth is in private practice in Los Gatos, California.  Her hospital affiliations include Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose and El Camino Hospital in Los Gatos.  Dr. Sheth resides with her husband in Saratoga, California.
