Benefits of Membership

  • PICA Discount. CPMA Members will get an additional 5% Discount on PICA Premiums for attending the PICA Risk Management Seminar at the Western.  
  • Members get a discounted rate for attending The Western. Registration fees are over $400 LESS for CPMA members. Additionally, all workshops and instructional courses are approximately $200 more each for non-members than members. There are also discounted rates for members sending their assistants to the program.  
  • Discounted rates for attending the APMA meeting. Over $800 savings for members on registration fees!  
  • Free publications from the CPMA and APMA including: The California Podiatric Physician, the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the APMA News Magazine, APMA Daily E-News, DPM Managed Care Newsletter, APMA Alerts and the quarterly APMA Coding Letter.
  • Free and Discounted Legal Service. There are two programs available for this. The first is through CPMA. Members can call the CPMA attorney for assistance with professional legal issues for free/discounted rates. The second program is through the Guild.
  • Members can get a free legal consultation on any legal issue, personal or professional, and then receive a 30% discount on most additional attorney fees.
  • Expert assistance with billing, coding and practice management issues. Members can call CPMA for direct assistance with these issues.
  • Members are listed on the CPMA and APMA Find-a-Podiatrist websites, helping them gain exposure to consumers and network with other doctors.  
  • ·Members Only access to the CPMA and APMA websites which host a wealth of information on everything from practice management and billing and coding to the most up to date legislative news and scientific information for your practice.
  • Earn Free Online CE credits through the APMA website.
  • Access to Credit Union Membership available to CPMA members.  
  • Auto-Insurance Discounts:  Available through the Guild, union members can save on auto insurance. Union Plus Auto Insurance from AIG, a world leader in auto insurance, is available to participating union members and their families. Additionally, many auto insurance providers will give discounts to their customers who are members of their Professional Association. We will provide documentation of membership that you can give to your insurer to get any discount they offer.  
  • Discounts to over 1,500 health clubs nationwide including Bally Total Fitness, Select Gold's Gyms and many other top fitness clubs. Get union discounts on new health club memberships at over 1,500 health clubs including Bally's Fitness and select World and Gold's Gym across the country.  
  • Education Services- Several programs are available through the guild including, student scholarships, college counseling, loan programs and access to an online college textbook store with reduced book costs.  
  • Discounts on Dell Computers available through the Guild. The Union Plus Computers & Tech Program, in conjunction with Dell, now offers a 5-10% discount exclusively for members on selected products purchased through Dell.  
  • IBM Discounts available through the Guild – Members can receive a 10% discount on selected products purchased through IBM.  
  • Discounts on Cingular Wireless Cell Phone Service, available through the Guild.
