CPMA Shatters Glass Ceiling in Historic Fashion

On June 5, national, state, and local leaders of podiatry gathered in-person for the first time in two-years for the California Podiatric Medical Association’s 2021 House of Delegates (HOD).

The House discussed the critical issues affecting members, their patients, practices, public health and the practice of medicine in the state. Speakers included elected officials, national, state and local leaders from The House of Medicine and educators. There was a Celebration of Lives well Lived and the election of CPMA’s 2021-2022 Board of Directors, which included the installment of three women in the Association’s top leadership positions. Diane Branks, DPM (Pomona, CA) was elevated to President. Holly Spohn-Gross, DPM (Lake Isabella, CA) was elected President-Elect. And, Diane Koshimune, DPM (San Jose, CA) was elected Secretary-Treasurer.
