Gov. Brown Appoints Dr. McAloon to Board of Podiatric Medicine

 

Governor Jerry Brown has appointed California Podiatric Medical Association Past President Dr. Carolyn McAloon (San Ramon, CA) to the Board of Podiatric Medicine (BPM); the agency responsible for the licensure and oversight of the practitioners and practice of podiatric medicine in the state of California.

A graduate of the University of California at Berkley, Dr. McAloon earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine (CCPM) in San Francisco.  She completed both her primary podiatric medicine and surgical residencies at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare Systems in Palo Alto, California. 

A board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon, Dr. McAloon is a member of the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA), American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the Alameda/Contra Podiatric Medical Society. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFS).  Dr. McAloon is a private practitioner in the San Francisco Bay Area, with offices in Castro Valley and Dublin, CA.
